211 Welcome to South Carolina 211, your one-stop resource for finding assistance in your local community. The site keeps a database of a wide variety of service providers including support groups, community clinics, counselors, shelters, food pantries, programs for seniors and much more.

If you need assistance for yourself or someone else, start your search by clicking on "Find Help." You can choose to search by all locations in the database or by the city, county or zip code of the person(s) needing assistance. From the Term List, click the drop-down box and select the type of service you are seeking or type in your own search terms.

You can also use 211 to find Volunteer Opportunities in your community or to access the Wishlists of local organizations. Enter your own search term or select a keyword that relates to the type of service organization that you wish to help. Use the letters at the bottom of the search box to scroll through the names of organizations.

SC 211 is powered by CommunityPoint, a comprehensive guide to the community resources in your local area. The site includes an overview of social services, how to obtain community services, and some examples of major service providers in each area. A Service Index is provided according to service specializations. Agency profiles include address, phone numbers, web and email addresses, hours, disability access, fees, eligibility requirements and service descriptions.
